Octavian had always been an adventurous and free-spirited soul. Since he was a little boy growing up in a small town, he dreamed of exploring far off places and experiencing new cultures. As soon as he finished school, Octavian started working odd jobs and saving up money to fund his passion for travel.

By the time he turned 20, Octavian had saved enough to embark on a backpacking trip that would take him across Europe and Asia. He started in Greece, marveling at the ancient ruins and crystal blue waters. He hiked through vineyards in Tuscany, danced at a full moon party in Thailand, and meditated at a Buddhist temple in Cambodia.

With each new destination, Octavian felt more alive and connected to the diverse world around him. He loved meeting locals everywhere he went, hearing their stories and gaining new perspectives. He picked up bits and pieces of various languages and customs. Most hostels and travelers he stayed with along the way became quick friends.

When his money from his first big trip began running low, Octavian took odd tourism jobs to fund his next excursion. He led walking tours in Edinburgh, taught English at a school in Seoul, and worked on a vineyard in New Zealand. The more he worked and embedded himself into each place, the more at home he felt in the world.

Now at 30 years old, Octavian has visited over 50 countries across 6 continents. He continues to work random jobs that support his perpetual state of wanderlust. He's mastered the art of traveling light, living off the kindness of strangers, and being open to wherever the road leads him next. While he doesn't have a traditional career or home base, Octavian feels more free and alive than ever experiencing the boundless beauty the world has to offer.
